Violin lessons are provided by the Music Kids program.  Their approach follows a very specific philosophy, namely that the exposure to beauty is not a luxury but a human necessity. Starting with the 3rd grade, children can join Band. The school band consists of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments, specifically flute, clarinet, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, bells, or drums.



Help your kids improve their problem solving, abstract reasoning, strategic thinking, patience, and sportsmanship skills by learning to play chess. Studies show that chess helps children focus, and become creative thinkers.The Chess Team will practice together, be taught skills for a competitive environment, and participate in Tournaments over the course of the year. A leadership organization comprised of 4th through 8th grade representatives serving as the voice of the student body. It is a cooperative effort of students who actively support student affairs of the school. 



Under the direction of Mrs. Mara Fleming, there are four main branches of the Fatima Youth Ministry:

  • Junior Ushers and Greeters
  • Sodality - the co-ed Catholic youth group that plans and carries out a range of projects and events during the school year, Grades 5th-8th
  • Children of Mary - a co-ed junior version of Sodality
  • Prayer Ambassador - for children with an interest in public speaking to lead the congregation in prayer, Grades 3-8th



Throughout the school year classes are held of varying interests. As they become available, on a rotating basis, parents will be notified. Some favorites include:

  • STEM
  • Soccer
  • World of Wizards
  • Green Thumb Club
  • Yoga
  • Culinary
  • Art
